Thinking Mice about all-in bets
Think long and hard before calling an all-in bet, or putting all your remaining chips in the pot. Dramatically shoving your whole stack without hesitation into the middle may look cool, but stop, take a few deep breaths, count to ten, and carefully evaluate the situation. Things to consider include the fol¬lowing: How strong is your hand? What possible cards does your opponent have? Will you finish in the money if you go out now?
Remember that you’ve invested some expense (your entry fee) and a considerable amount of time to participate in this tournament and get to this point. Relax and make sure this move is the right one before you shove your chips forward. Rash, impulsive moves may not just bounce you out of the tourna¬ment; they may also leave you with regrets for months afterwards
